Sitara is a generous, rambling chintz of peonies, curling leaves and scattered rosette medallions, all winding their way across linen. Made as a loose pleat, the larger-scale pattern gathers beautifully into the folds, revealing different flowers, leaves and medallions as the fabric opens out.

Its name means ‘star’ in Hindi and Urdu, a reference to the medallions dotted throughout the design and to the Indian painted cottons that first inspired the collection.

The table lamp shade can also be used as a wall light; it is also available with a pendant fitting.

Each shade is handmade in London and made to order, with a lead time of approximately 2–3 weeks.

For UK Mainland: your order will be within 3 working days

For European orders: your order will be within 10 working days

For US orders: all lampshades are made to order, the lead time is five weeks.

Wherever possible, all orders will be shipped sooner still.

If your lampshade's frill is tucked under when it arrives, gently coax it out with a steamer or iron.

To clean your lampshade, remove it from the lamp or light fitting and
use a clean, dry cloth to gently wipe it.

P.S. We recommend using all our shades with a 60 watt bulb.
