What’s the difference between candle clip, fixed washer, and duplex fittings?

  • Candle clip shades clip directly onto the bulb and are used for very small shades.
  • Fixed washer fittings sit on a standard bulb holder and are used for most medium shades.
  • Duplex fittings require a shade carrier, which helps support larger, heavier shades and raises or lowers the height as needed.
